Does Every Planet Have a Spirit?
Does every planet have a spirit? If so, what happened to the spirits of those planets who have passed away (Moses 1: 35)?

Eternal laws are unchangeable. No being invented them or can uninvent them. Thus if one planet has a spirit, logic would suggest they all do. However no one has declared having a revelation that this is so, that I'm aware of.
In regard the verse in Moses we need to look at it to consider what it is saying _
"But only an account of this earth, and the inhabitants of it, I give to you. For look, there are many worlds that have passed away by the word of my power. And there are many that now stand, and innumerable are they to man; but all things are numbered to me, for they are mine and I know them." Moses 1:35
Your concern is in regard the statement that the planets have "passed away". But this doesn't state that they weren't resurrected. Let us look down further at verse 38 concerning inhabited planets _
"And as one earth shall pass away, and the heavens of it even so shall another come; and there is no end to my works, neither to my words." Moses 1:38
We see God using the same term here of passing away in regard earths. He has talked of these being inhabited. So his term of passing away is obviously his way of saying that the planet has fulfilled its time as a place for people to come down and chose their course. These planets would have been resurrected also.
Again we see in Alma _
"Now they understood not the words which they spake; for they knew not that the earth should pass away." Alma 9:3
This is speaking of our planet that will be resurrected so that the meek shall inherit the earth.
